Default need advise on what motor to drop in my 91 ls

ok im buying a 91 ls and it possibly has a bad motor....wanting to replace it ne ways...but i wanna know what other motor is realativly simple to drop in to it. or would ne one happen to have a b18a block and head for sale??? ne way get back to me with ne opinions.

Why not just go with a b16a1 swap, you can get everything for about $1500, and the swap is as easy as it gets. I also have a 91, should have my swap done this week or next.

You've got a lot of opinions from everyone but it all depends on how much money you are going to be spending and how much horse/torque you want to start out with. I personally would do a B20. Those motors are not that hard to find nowadays and can retail from 500 to 800 depending on what site you go to.

go with a b18 or a b20 screw the b16 in that car too heavy not many people recomend a b16 swap into a da....
