Default 91 DA swap

i am picking up a 91 DA in mint condition body wise. the car's motor has 138k on it and i was thinking of boosting it.

now heres the question should i just replace the block with a b20 or another newer ls block for boost????

or should i jsut swap the motor for a gsr (obd-I) and do a nice all motor setup.

i am not looking for high kick *** fast car but a strong street car that can hold its own on the track and on teh road.

i did a search and nothing really if anyone can tell me how their b20 or gsr DA integras drove that would be a big help.
thanks
cliff

ive heard that the b20 blocks arent good for boost...and the 90-91 g2 are obd0 so if u do swap a obd1 b18c1 in it ull have to convert

Yea, they're obd0 so that at least forces the need for a harness converter. What type of information are you looking at on DA's? They handle fine if you modify the suspension. They are pretty sweet cars. Plenty of people have boosted the stock bottom end of these blocks as well without problems but you'll want to at least rebuild it. Check http://www.g2ic.com for more info if you want. There is a fairly large FI section

i have already been there also looking into there for other info but honda-techers have always showed me love. the distributor for OBD-0 i have found out that i can use the ls dizzy or find a pr3 obd-0 b16 dizzy also for use. the ecu i kno will need a pr3 JDM b16 ecu i will also be looking for that. mounts and everything else i have heard work from the DA so it seems to be fairly simple but i have not talked to anyone yet about the hydro conversion kit for this swap because i might just use a hydro tranny isntead of a cable trans since it gets to be a pain to find these at times.
