I found a good deal on a spoon flywheel, however, they have a Toda for a little under a $100 more. Is there any benifit to the Toda, or would the Spoon be good for a daily driver and part time tracker? Thanks for the help.

Why is the Toda better? If I remember correctly, they both weigh the same now, however the person selling the fly, says the toda is 9.1 and the spoon is 9.3. Is there any other difference? They are both cromoly. Is there anything differnet on the face/surface or anything? I dont think .2 lbs is worth an extra 100 dollars.

I'd go for the spoon. .2 pounds of weight savings for $100 is not worth it.

Keep in mind that the main reason for difference is that the Spoons are on special. Not allowed to put the Toda's on sale. Therefore, Spoon is a no brainer. Spoon normally $400
Toda $450

Do the Spoon...$100 isnt worth the extra .2 weight savings...put that money towards something else.
