Keep Hondata or switch? Please share your opinion!
Hey guys, I just purchased Honda S200B w/Datalogging and was planning on getting the 3 Step feature next month. Anyway, my car is OBD0 and I'd still need to do the OBD1 conversion. I'm really starting to wonder why I paid so much money on Hondata. Should I just use a program like TurboEdit or GhettoDyne? Will these programs work just as well? Do they have more/less features? Is it true that OBD1 responds better to tuning? I'm really torn on this situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hondata has pretty good resale value, and the OBD0 DIY editors are maintained by THE most talented guys in the scene. I don't see any reason why OBD1 should make more power than OBD0, the 4-wire O2 sensor is the only real difference that I can think of, that would affect performance.

obd0 =
programmer - 100
chips, zif, soldering - 50
editor - FREE!
wb02(not needed but highly recomended) 300 +-
vs.
obd1=
conversion harness - 170
obd1 dizzy - 150
p28, chipping - 150
hondata2b - 450
tuning - 100+
prices are approximate... hondata will end up costing alot more but you get what you pay for, or do you?
