1. The DX head has a shitty cam are springs, not very aggressive and good to about 4500rpm. The Si head on the other hand has a very aggressive cam profile and stiff springs that can goto 7200rpm

2. You can only use D15 pistons in a D15, the wrist pin mounting point and the total height of the piston are differ from D15 to D16

Both the DX and Si heads are the same cast but from what I have heard is only the cam is different, this is the first time I have heard of springs being different.
They may be since I have never looked into it.

is anyone for sure about the actual size of all of the ports and everything?

I mean, a D15 head with a D16a6 cam and springs *IS* a d16a6 head?

the head castings are all the same..they have the same casting number..but i dont kno it off hand.

As for the springs..im pretty damn sure there exactly the same, just a different cam. Becuz ive been taking my b2 springs/cam to 6k everyday for months and its fine.

And also, the d15 pistons are the same as the d16 pistons, u just might have clearance problems with the pm3 pistons becuz they have a taller compression height thats about 3mm more than the average d16 piston.

Is that d16a6 a vtec motor?
What cams exactly will fit into a d15b2?? I have this motor in my sedan and it just aint cuttn it. Going from a built b18c in a 93 coupe to this is really depressing. I need more power!!!

No. Stock, it's a SOHC, non-vtec motor.
