si cam from a 91 civic will fit on 98 civic dx motor?
I have a 91 civic si cam shaft and cam gear and I wanted to know if it would be a direct bolt on into my 98 honda civic dx hatch.
Some ppl have said yes no problem and some ppl say no it will not work. What is the real answer?
What cam gear do I use?
Thanks

Re: si cam from a 91 civic will fit on 98 civic dx motor? (MrPotatoeHead)
okay I'm a bit rusty here but what is the Y head?
is that from an Si Vtec?
The thing is that I want to install an 91 Si cam into my 98 DX but I'm not sure if i have to screw with the cam timing or that it will be a perfect fit. Based on your answer I think i can safely say that i can drop the cam in without a problem?
thanks
