im new, only 16... can i make a full ITR b18c5 swap into a DA?
Without engine mounts there will be nothing to hold the engine in the car
Edit: Sorry I couldn't resist, the swap is doable, you'd probably be better off asking in the Integra and/or Hybrid forum

hehe ... yeah, going to delete one of my old posts for every new one (for a while).
Thanks for the info Chad, that's sort of what I thought ... sad news is, this is in my neighborhood!
Now ... off to find a post that "has to go"!

If you can put an h22 in it, you most Def can put the c5 in there.
Need a cable to hydro mount. If you dont have a 92-93, youll need a obo-obo1 jumper. All the info should be simular to putting it in a 92-95 hatch -the tranny mount.
BTW, you could cut through the sarcasm with a chainsaw in this post!

theres 2 ways of doing this.
get a 92-93 integra gsr tranny, or jdm gen1 b16 tranny.
then use the mounts/brackets off the motor that is already in the da.
if its a 92-93 da use a 92-93 gsr harness. ls chassis= some wiring, gsr chassis=no wiring.
now if its the pre-obd chassis (before 92) your gonna have to do some wiring using the stock harness. ecu= chipped pre-obd b16 ecu or chipped p28 with a pre-obd to obd 1 jumper.
option........2 for mounts use the stock r tranny and get the hasport hydro to cable conversion which comes with some of the mounts you need. the rest use off the stock da motor.

stick with a cable trans. if you can get a ys1 out of a gsr they have the shortest 1st, 3rd, & 5th. slap on a LSD then your good to go.
BTW when you get the swap. just dont put the 'type R' sticker. LOL jk

**** cable trannys, they grind, they suck, they're expensive, they're rare.
the conversion for a DA is real easy.. i forget the process. try hasport, very helpful.
