I dont have this info with me, I need to know how much tranny fluid i need for a GSR transmission....I'm picking a new one up today and I gotta grab some Redline MTF to put in it....thanks in advance.

 

I believe its a bit over 2.5 quarts of fluid. Buy 3 quarts and fill it up until it pours out of the hole.

 

Tranny Fluid -
2.3quarts for change
2.4 quarts of overhaul...
the method described above is correct, that is how you gauge wether or not it's full, the amt your suppose to put in is the same amt to the bottom of the fill hole...so fill her up until it spills....but make sure your on a flat surface.

Make sure you use the HONDA stuff, dont use anything else!!! Ive tried Redline and a couple others, and the Honda stuff shifts so much better, its cheeper too

Nothing wrong with redline, its just that Honda trannys were designed for honda fluid. My GSR shifts SO much better with the honda suff, just FYI.

 

i also think my tranny shifted much better when using the Honda MTF.... when i was using redline MTL i started to feel really grindy shifts
