I just bought a Black '96 GSR with 81K miles! She had listed it at $8,000 and I was apparently the first to reply to the add because I was able to talk her down to $7,000 over the phone. When I showed up in the afternoon to test drive she said she had recieved tons of calls and could not sell it for $7,000. The car was PERFECT. She was the only owner and it has been garaged from day 1. No dings, scratches or stains ANYWHERE. When I revved it to 7K RPM she was visibly nervous as the engine got louder and she informed me that she usually changes gears at 5K RPM. The clutch was like new! ALL RECORDS including water pump, timing belt and radiator changed at 72K (she was wrong before and showed me the records). Anyhow, I had to have the car so we settled on $7,500 and both of us were happy. The only problem is no alarm but I think I will just buy THE CLUB. Thanks for the info everybody.

Nice find. I bought my 94 gsr with 74k miles for 10k, however, it came with an almost new b18c5/type-r tranny and a million other goodies.

they might not drive it hard but... woman drivers are the worst in my opinon.

She's probably playin you. She just took the turbo off and raised it back up the day before you got there. Or maybe you found one of the few gsr's out there that haven't been riced out and then beaten to death. Sounds like a good find. You should also get more than a club or that thing will be gone soon.
