Doing a little searching and reading the plates on the inside of the door aren't yielding accurate or matching numbers..

Has anybody had their stock S2k on a scale? I'm curious as to how much exactly they weigh..

On a side note, don't attempt a power brake burn-out on a stock S2k. Clutch doesn't like it. on me for being too used to my 300ZX.

 

most people are seeing around about 2700-2800 lbs depending on gas, things in the car, spare and tools removed or not, aftermarket wheels etc....

 

Stereo upgrade with fiberglass enclosure and amplifier, and aftermarket wheels.......2800 lbs on full tank.....

Wow.. quite a bit lighter than what I was thinking. I knew they weren't over 3k, but hard to tell with the misleading stickers. Anybody else had theirs on a scale?

how is there that big of a difference between your car and the other car? what kind of mods do you have? is that weight with you in it? thanks
