Is it me or are the S2000's much brighter? i was behind one tonite and noticed a sharp white light compared to my duller yellow light... I had the OEM fogs on, but it still did not compare to the S2000's... are they a higher K level or are they just plain stronger?

 

Mine look exactly like s2000. Me and my friend compared.

But for some reason the shape of the headlight makes it worse to be followed by an s2000, but the color is the same.

 

Same or very close to the s2000 from what I have heard and seen.

 

I think they're the same exact projector, but we can do a comparison tomorrow when I pick up my '04 S2000

 

What color did you decide on wanksta? You better post pics tomorrow!

 

hmm having seen both side by side, they do looks VERY similar, but for some reason i think i like the way the S2000s look, don't ask me why :\

 

if yhey look the same then the jdm integra must look hot on the street

Nice! I plan on maybe trading up to an 04 too sometime next summer.

mine are bright white, almost blue...

 

They both use the same D2S bulbs in the 4300K range so the color should be identical.

 

 

the s2k's suspension is so stiff, lots of times when I was on the freeway and s2K drives up, the lights would go up and down so much that everysingle time it pass me, I guess it's a riceup civic of something cheap passing me then you see it's an S2000, and I'm like oh man, Honda should put self leveling on them... so bad...

It really depends on a few things, but the most important thing is the age of the bulbs.

For one to say that an S2000's headlights look (insert color here) and BMW's hids look (insert color here) is wrong.


As you use your HID's, overtime the lumens will decrease. Also, after many hours (100-500+ hours) the bulbs will "colorshift" to more of a colorful light. (more blues/purples, less yellows/whites).


I did a comparo with my bro's setup and mine using new and old bulbs. The differences were staggering.
