Default presure plate question

Ok well i got a Action stage 1 KS clutch and basicly the bolts were over tightened...now where each bolt goes there isa little indent. small...but u can feel it. the paint is gone and its dug in a little...now my question is...is the p.p bad now? or can i still used it? because if i torque it to specs its not going to fit like it should...or won't it make a difference...if i cant use the action one can i use the stock b16 p.p?

if your torque it to specs, it will be tight enough and most likely fit fine. your bolting the pressure plate to the flywheel, with the clutch disk inbetween. as long as there is enough space and pressure inbetween the pp and fw on the disk, i dont see anything wrong. and it doesnt seem like the indents where the bolts go would make a difference with those. if your iffy about it, buy a new one. or, you could torque it correctly, try it out, if it breaks....at least you know for next time. thats my thoughts about it. i would try it if it was me.
