Correct me if I am wrong, but dont Mugen gauge clusters go up to 270km/h? This looks like a JDM cluster with a silver bezel and a Mugen sticker.

 

 

i don't remember mugen making a cluster , but I guess I could be wrong. It looks to me that it is a ITR cluster w/ a Mugen aluminum bezel thing that replaced the fake carbon fiber area.

The bezel is an authentic Mugen peice. The cluster itself is just plain old JDM. Mugen does sell a guage cluster for the EK, but only a speedometer for the DC2.

 

I still like it

Nah, it's brushed aluminum -- it doesn't cast a reflection.

I still like the mental pic my post casts

 

It's nice but I don't think it would look particularly good in a R. The brushed aluminum kind of clashes with the rest of the interior.

Is it me or does this cluster look like a JDM ITR, but the numbers and their dashes are the style of GSR, not ITR... Neone else notice this, or am I just trippin...?

The Mugen speedometer and cluster bezel are 2 separate pieces.

What's really bad is when they take a cheap POS aftermarket part, and slap a sticker from someone like Spoon on it and try to sell it as a Spoon part.

Yes it is a JDM ITR. The JDM GSR only has a redline of 9000rpm. The bezel looks real. I have the same one but also have the mugen speedometer.

Mugen is put on there to get attn in the ad as well
