I still have problem with my CEL... code 71-72
after cold start, The engine seemed only to run on 2 cylinder..
CEL blinking all the time for 10 minutes..
then, it stayed on after the engine feels normal again..
the CEL will go after a week or so.. but then DeJavu all over again.

how to check if the Spark Plug wires are still good?
I want to sort out the reason for this misfiring...

 

Check the el. resistance. Should be lower than 25 kOhm.. and a visual check.

Just get an ohmeter and run the - side (I believe) up the boot, and the + to the distr side of the wire.

Correct me if I mixed up the sides.

You have to pull the wires out and use a multimeter/Ohmmeter to measure the resistance. The + on one end and the - on the other end, doesn't matter which side which....

what I hate in Holland is when the people celebrate new years.. fireworks in your face... and everywhere is dirty as hell the next morning...
