Default No Respect

I get a call last night at 1:30 in the morning, its my freind who needs a favor. So i get up and go into my town which i live about three miles outside of. I havent driven my car for over a week due to weather conditions but got it out yesterday because it warmed up a bit. I leave my car parked on the Main Street of our town for 20 minutes and come out to find my baby keyed. The whole way across the trunk lid and put a huge figure 8 looking thing on my hood. People have no respect for others belongings. Punks Sorry, i have been needing to vent all morning. I guess i could have worse things to complain about like "it being stolen" but at the same time who just randomly decides to key cars. Oh well, looks like i just have some more bills coming my way.

No i sold my R a couple months ago for theft reasons and high insurance premiums. It happened to my Si, that i just recently dropped a B18C(R) in. I miss the R so much, but being keyed was the least of my worries. I wanted something less wanted. When i have the money to have a R where i can keep it garaged and kept the way id like to treat it ill get another one. In the meantime i am having fun with the Si.

I had the stupidest piece of vandalism happen to my MR2 Spyder recently. I was in a mall and had parked the car near an all you can eat restaurant. When I came out of the mall, both the driver's and passenger side windows and doors had had chocalte ice cream cones mashed all over them. Kinda funny but a total mess.

It was a pretty cold day (about 40 degrees) and I don't take the car to drive through car washes. So when I got home I had to wash the car by hand. It sucked.

I had not cut anyone off nor had I taken extra spots or any other weirdness. It was just random malicious BS. I am really baffled by this. Why would you want to hurt or inconvenience someone you don't know?

Regards,
Alan

Damn it! Forget it all, I have a new idea...I'm going to build my R, and when it's all done im going to leave it in the garage forever...Someone will ask how it drives...Is it fast? ...."Hell if I know" will be my response. At least I can still bling about having an Integra Type R.................

You see jh4, you have it all wrong...I bet if you had altezzas, a 23" aluminum wing, some dubs and a buttload of neon, you might have had a bunch of people jocking it instead of vandalizing it.....sheez, what are you thinking

<------who has never driven his R and never will!!

from what you described, there might be enough damage to claim it on insurance. only drawback is the possible point against you

theives and haters should be stripped naked and tied in the middle of downtown to a post...all day.

my insurance doesn't assess points for comprehensive claims, only collision. You might want to check it out with your insurance as mentioned cause if it happened while the car wasn't being driven, it should be covered by your comprehensive.

That sucks! Haters and jealous people should all go to hell!!!

In europe vandalism is horrible. Cars get keyed a lot over here. Everyone I know that has a somewhat nice car has been keyed. At least insurances here are nice with a franchise of 400 bucks then they do the rest for you with no points on contract.

The worst though are door marks from other peoples cars. Over here no one has any respect for your car. Everyone that has a mediocre car will "rest" their door on yours while gettign out. Bastards! so now i park in two spaces and no more marks!

2 weeks after I got my car someone graciously helped me remove my emblems with a screw driver. Actually they only took half of the front one and dug intot he bumper cover, then on the trunk they took the whole thing and left me with a really nice dent in the trunk.

Someone also keyed my quarter panel about a year and a half ago and I just left that ****. **** it, it's not worth repainting if some other idiot is just goint to do it again.

Maybe my mom's superstition was right, black cars are bad luck.

My Porsche was black, and got ran into in a parking lot, and then keyed, and then an 18 wheeler flung a rock into the windshield. And my beautiful black ITR has been stolen twice, had the wheels jacked once, and now has been hit in the rear. I agree, black cars are cursed.
