Bleeding Brakes
I just rebuild a brake caliper on my 93 civic dx and after bleeding the brakes, flushing and re-bleeding, I can't get the mushy pedal to go away.
WHen you rebuild a caliper, do you have to bench bleed it? I know you're supposed to do that when you install a new master cylinder, but I'm not sure about doing teh same wit calipers

if you leaked out too much flid there might be air pretty high up in the lines. Keep trying and if you still can't get it to work, take it to a brake shop and have them pressure bleed it. Or just buy a pressure bleeder
you rebuilt it?? make sure the seal around the caliper piston is sealing correctly....could have a fluid leak there or at the brake line....if not yeah bleed it for awhile to make sure you get all the air out....
What I did is a gravity bleed....I took the brake line off and kept filing with fluid untill it started coming out steady......then capped it and reconnected the line and then bled it a few times (20)......over kill maybe but my pedal feels great!!
