Default Tial Blow Off Valve

Does anyone know of anyone that has this blow off valve . . . what does it sound like? I have sound clips of most all other blow off valves accept this one.

If you have a clip post it up, or e-mail me at: tyson@genxperformance.net

I was thinking of getting one for my setup, but was just un-sure of the sound . . . I know it performs excellent!

My friend has one that came with his edelbrock kit. Its a very fast sound. Its like it just opens really wide and realeases all the boost pressure. and its like a swoosh rather than a whistle. I like it, its very crisp. But I still like my type s better.

I have a Greddy type s blow off valve myself, but I am in the process of selling it along with a couple other things, to re-do my setup and I found a tial blow off valve for a pretty decent price. I didn't want to spend like $200 on a bov, so I was wondering what the tial sounded like so that if it sounded decent I could pick it up.

Does it kinda sound like a turbo xs? If so then i'll pass on it lol . . . those bov's are not my style. The Type S under high boost sounds killer on my friends eclipse with 15psi behind it. That **** was ear piercing!

So you all say the type s?

so many people have the type-s i seriously wouldnt run it it it was free. it sounds cool but its so over used. are you looking for sound or performance???? tial is probably one of the best as far as functionality. if your looking for sound then theres tons of options it depends on what kind of sound your looking for.

Go here http://www.supraforums.com/for...54109

and download his vids, that's what a Tial BOV sounds like. That's also what a turbo with anti-surge ports in the compressor housing sounds like. Ridiculously sick...

Hang on a sec, I'll find the codec again for you. I had the same problem.

Here it is, I think... http://www.glasso.dk/ac3.htm

Here's another from that thread on supraforums. this one didn't work for me, but worked for most of the other people. http://www.elecard.com/products/mpeg2decoder.shtml

check out the cockpit vids of John Shepherd's Talon, he's running a Tial:

Of course, he's running a lot of boost, so it may not sound the same for you.
