HI
Just wondering if any of you are able to remove/install the complete intake manifold with the motor in the car (EH) using HCP mounts? Just curious since all I'm waiting on to install the engine is a intake gasket, but if I can install everything else then I'll do it before I get it.

It can be done but it is always easier with the engine outside of the car. I would wait if I were you..

 

You can always put the noter ina dm remove the manifold by taking it apart in peaces but waiting would be a lot easier

No, not yet. I was at my dad's house about 11:30 this moring and nothing, I hope by the time I get off work it'll be there.

 

I had to yank my motor out a bit to get it out, it was to close to the proportioning valve

 

Yup same here. I couldn't completely remove the intake manifold when I tried to cut a hole for my egr port in my hondata gasket. I could only slide it partially off. I have an HCP kit. It's a really tight fit back there.

 

all you guys need to do is unbolt the rear bracket off the trans then you can pull and rotate the motor forward with enough room to change manifolds.

 

my mounts don't move....
