Default H22 Intake Manifold Removal

Does anyone know if you can actually take the intake manifold off an H22 in an EG with the engine sitll in the car? I've never tried, I'm think of removing the manifold to clean the inside of it. Definetly is a limited about of space to work.

I thought of perhaps removing the manifold in 3 peices, maybe that would be easier? Anyone with experience feel free to share some knowledge. Thanks.

trial and error, man. It might work if you remove the upper plenum. Without removing that, you're **** out of luck.
If you do it, definitely post back with the results so anyone searching for it has the answer in the future.
