i found a guy selling the following item for $120 CDN:

2.25" Aluminized steel. Custom bent by ZORRO for my previous '92 civic hatch. No resonator or cat so basically a straight through. Over axle like the original. I'll throw in a universal high-flow muffler- at least a 2 inch. Almost a straight through as well. Pipes in excellent shape. Muffler great.

do u guys think its a good deal? should i grab it anyways and use the pipe with a performance muffler(skunk2, Spoon, ApexI)?

custom bent? sounds like its crush bent to me.

id ask him to specify whether its mandrel or crush bent.

is mandrel bent better than crush bent? and what should i look for when checking out the exhuast?

Yes mandrel bent it better. Flows better. Check for being something that won't rust and for the mandrel bends.

im thinking of giving him $100 CDN thats if its in mint shape, and does anybody have a pic of crush bent so i can see what it looks like as to mandrel.... and the guys says its aluminum so i think it should be a good pipe or does aluminum rust very easy???? sorry for asking n00bE questions but i dont wanna get ripped off.... thanks.

yeah i know.... but that also means no restrictions.

crush bent is poop. the diameter on the bends will be less than 2.25 in. only when the piping is straight and not crushed will the diameter be 2.25in. why not spend $60 more and get mandrel bent piping (itll be 2.25 all the way through).

any muffler shop will do crush bent piping for less than $100 or less installed.

well i checked out the exhuast today and it was crush bent , and rusted so i didnt get it....
