I am thinking about getting this exhaust, but wanted to hear more about it?? How you guys like it? And about the loudness of it??
I have already searched on this subject, but didn't find much about what I want to know. Also if you guys have any pics and maybe sound clips that would help alot

 

itz freakin loud.. i love my Gpower medallion instead... but the racing medallion looks good =]

 

I also love the look of a Tanabe RM, which I am currently looking to buy. I've heard an N1 at VTEC and it is loud, kinda raspy, but I love the look. Supposedly they have a really deep tone under 4K, but once the second lobes hit it gets really really loud (cop attention). They have silencers as well for them, but this is still the exhaust I want. ......Sellers, I want one!!

 

I think it looks pretty damn good, and with the silencer I've heard it's not that loud.

 

the silencermake sit quiet, but it is sooo restrictive, and it sounds too muffled. this exhaust is loud though, if that's what you want

 

from what i hear there are some places on the piping where the diameter tapers down and causes a restriction. just food for thought.

 

Loud. Deep when not WOT. At WOT, it sounds like a loud whiney bitch. Thats just my opinion.

 

nice, loud, deep but it does get higher at higher rpm but nothing like a whiney bitch, not to me anyways, by the way dont lose ur silencer its very handy on road trips, my ears ring for about an hour after a long trip, hehe, later

 

maybe whiney bitch is a little too much of an exaggeration...haha...but I still do believe that it gets pretty loud and high pitched like a motorcycle at WOT.

I have the tanabe rm on my 93 hatch gsr hybrid and it's deep until you get into vtec land. That is when the cop attention comes into play. It looks sweet too but I am dissapointed with the construction of the b-pipe. Mine has broken twice and I have had to get it welded twice. I need to find a shop in VA that will do custom mandrel bent piping.

 

Does anyone have a sound clip or a video with a car that has it????

Oh, I own a Tanabe RM....it sounds great, and has not ever broke on me. Even some big V8 fans that are friends with my dad said my car sounded good. That means alot coming from hardcore muscle car lovers!

 

How bout the Tanabe Hyper Medallion? Is it made for top end power?
