brake upgrades
i am trying to find clean and well done CRX..or Del Sol...i got to thinking that before i upgrade the engine or make it fast...it would be important to stop...logic i guess...anyways...i will probably end up with a crx si...and was wondering if the stock 4 wheel discs are enough to handle future upgrades...im not turning it into a race car but would like to do some scca events and whatnot....what are my options in the category of brakes...i was thinking just some brembo cross drilled rotors and some new pads...(any suggestions on make) mated with some stainless lines (what are good?)...what else helps in the braking area...i have heard of GSR master cyliders and boosters and whatnot...so the question becomes is it more cost efficient to upgrade what is on the car or get a set of an integra brakes....any suggestions would be great...
i think u should get the car first .... test ur stock brakes ... see how u like them... then use the search button ..... there are tons of threads about brakes and upgrades .. good luck
Oh no pls dont turn in to the brake thread by Alan Will. Stock brakes (w/ upgraded pads, lines, fluid) will work fine unless your travelling at like 130+ constantly and want to stop hard. But anyways, u shouldn't be travelling that fast.
