Vandelized.... this sucks!
My car ("Christine") got vandalized last night/this morning. They broke the passenger side window and scraped up the passenger side door. Nothing was taken, but the glass cut up the inside of the door, the dash, and the passenger seat.
I have a factory alarm on it and the "Unbreakable Autolock" on the clutch... Either they couldn't get around it, or they just wanted to vandalize a beautiful car. I spent the afternoon cleaning up some of the mess. The cops came and dusted for prints, but nothing. I'm definitely going to invest in some added security, like installing some kill switches and an alarm with a page feature.
What gets me is that I'm paying for a "secure garage" in my apartment building, yet there's no security at all and no gated access... People walk through all the time! At least they can't get a truck in there...
Anyways, I'm just venting. thanks for reading.

That sucks.
You know from the posts that I've been reading about thefts... autolock must do a good enough job to keep the car where it's parked. (I don't consider towing a theft... that's just wrong.) G'luck getting those damn thieves.

The unbreakable autolock seems to be enough to deter the wanna-be thieves. The pros can get around it, but in my area, no one even knows what the hell "that yellow car" is.

Which pager alarm did you get? I looked around a while ago, but then put off getting it. I found a couple for around $50.... that seemed a little too cheap to me.
I got some generic Pager alarm ( the brand is called TRC) i've also seen the same pager alarm under the name crimestopper. But basically it's a alarm that the remote is a pager also with a LCD screen that has icons and stuff to let you know whats going on with your car. I have to admit, this alarm isn't the best alarm as in technology, but from experience the minute my motion sensors go off . i'm at the window looking and that only give s them about 5 seconds to do whatever they can to my car. FYI ( my car also has RS door handles, the club , autolock and a car cover. The car covers great because the minute they move the cover, the motion sensors go off and then it pages me so basically they never really have a chance to even look at underneath it...if you have any more ???s let me know..!
