I am swapping a b18 ls into a 93cx that has 1.5L sohc,do I need to put a higher volume fuel pump or will the stocker do the job.The motor going in is stock and no plans for turbo.Should I change fuel filter even if stock f/p will work,car has 135,XXX on it.I do know that when I had asked questions reguarding injectors someone said my 1.5 injectors work in a b18,but didnt ask about fuel volume/capacity on stock f/p.Thankyou for input!

It isn't really necessary but it's a good thing to change the pump if you can. A B-series GSR/ITR/Si fuel pump is a direct fit and it's really easy to change in an EG. Depending on the last time you changed the fuel filter, it was also be wise to go ahead and do that as well.

You stock fuel injectors will be sufficient to use on the LS, If the LS doesn't come with them or they are a different OBD and you don't want to change plugs, simply reuse your stock injectors.

 

Thanks for the info just one more question what year fuel pump should I ask for,same as my car or what?

The fuel filter has not been changed,at least it appears to be the original cause the bolts have the paint marks on them from the factory!

 

try a 94+ teg or 99-00 si fuel pump.
