knock sensor question

So have I. You should use shielded wire for the knock sensor which shields out electrical interference's from other electrical parts and sensors. There's going to be people to say "I never used shielded wire on my setup" as always. Well, they are fortunate enough to not need it, but most of the time you do. It is wired that way from the factory (get a Helm's and you'll see) for a reason.

The only other possibilities would be that you aren't connecting the knock sensor to the proper ECU pinout or the sensor is bad. It could also be loose in the block and might need tightened.
