i searched through Summit, Jegs, and JC Whitney and i could only find like 15" u bends. are there any other places that sell longer pieces so i don't have to weld many pipes together and i can have nice long clean pipes. my friend told me that there was a topic on this already but i can't seem to find it on this site. well let me know if anyone can help me. thanks....btw i have a 89 Starion fmic with a custom T25 on my 00' civic ex. i guess i'll need 2" from the compressor to the ic...and 2.25 from the ic to the throttle body.

Burns is high quality stuff= $$$, I would use stainless for the downpipe and w/g dump, otherwise for IC piping aluminum would be best, but mild steel is just as good. I used the mandrel bends from JC whitney for all my IC piping

 

Does JC Whitney have the aluminum piping on their website at all? Was trying to find it, but couldn't.

That is aluminized mild steel not pure aluminum, but it serves the purpose.

I got the Greddy IC piping kit, but without the Greddy turbo kit, it still needed pipes. I bought the sizes to match up with the Greddy piping, and it goes 2" from the turbo to the IC, then 2" out, then uses a reducer to atttach to 2.5" that goes to the TB. Also used 2.5" for the turbo intake..

 

Anyone know where to get Aluminum piping?

 

Aluminum is rather difficult to get, since most shops don't have the machinery to madrel bend an aluminum, the only one is an exhaust company but then you might as well buy an intercooler piping kit...

most muffler shops uses a mild steel or steel for exhaust...

another avenue you might want to try is to find a roll bar manufacturing shops, they can get it done for you ..(mild steel)

 

 

I would love to buy an intercooler kit...but please tell me where to find 2.5" aluminum intercooler piping for a B18C in a EF hatch? I want to know someone who sells the 90degree and 45 degree bends..then I will weld the straight pieces to it.

Thanks dustin...the intercooler dimensioning has begun.....The motor is fully assembled. Waiting on my throttle body....and need to finish the tranny.
