bonnet switch?!?!
hi guys can someone tell me where the bonnet switch is on a 99 shape honda civic hatch ... im having difficulty finding it and my alarm seems to be playing up because of it.

in that case it will be on your left bottom....no wait right bottom side of the dash and will have a open hood/bonnet sign on it.
You survived on H_T with 266 days and not knowing how to pop your hood? make me wonder.
Edit: Nevermind I just about what you were asking for. You ment the Alarm swtich.

sorry guys i meant the bonnet switch for the interior light. my alarm (clifford 100) is playing up and i just wanted to clean the contacts... but cant find it, is it a mercury switch? oh and bonnet is hood and vice versa... sorry for the mis com

never heard of that. even if it was in UK why would your interior lights come on if you pop the hood? seems dumb.

Are you talking about the button that triggers the alarm when the hood is popped? So if the hood vibrates, it triggers it, and the interior lights come on? If so look where the fender bolts down under the hood, there will be a spring loaded push button type thing. Atleast that is how most alarms I've seen are done. If that isn't what you're talking about, then ignore this post..
no thats the bit im talking about just never had to explain it before ... ive tried looking mind u it was dark. still having alarm problems, im sure its a switch problem as the alarm always goes off 20 secs after arming it (its a clifford 100)
