Default ohio or west virginia emissions ????

Might be moving to the area,
Wanted to know if ohio or west virginia have emissions, if so what are the requirements to pass ?

(95 dc2 rs w/ a b18cr, p28 kenji chipped, dc 4-1 header & a custom exhaust system with no cat!)

:-/ I hope there are no emissions... I don't have a cat :-/

Only the following counties in Ohio require emissions checking :Butler, Clark, Clermont, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Greene, Hamilton, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Montgomery, Portage, Summit and Warren.

Basically, Cleveland/Akron and Cincinnati.

The e-check in parts of Ohio is a joke, they don't care about your ecu. If you have a CAT and a muff you will pass, oh and your gas cap has to seal very well too.

Like Chris said, no emissions in WV...... of course WV doesnt have much of anything.... anyway, what part of of WV would you be moving to?

only good thing about WV is that theft = non existent.

Justin - Who has left 226 out, and unlocked many times..... in the past.

If i did move to Wv it would be close to the wv/ohio border.

Knowing that I need a cat is not a good thing for me :-/

I don't feel like installing factory ls exhaust & possible a factory ls ecu every time I need to go to emissions which is probably once a year.

I have to find out what area of WV.
My Father is looking into a position at a Hospital in Ohio near the WV border.

I am unsure if I want to move with my parents or get an apartment here in sunny fla.

the only stuff they check in ohio is they look under ur car and look for a cat.. then they run it on their dyno for like 90 sec. as long as ur car isnt really bad it should be fine. and their are certain tricks u can do to get ur car to run super clean to pass them. u only have to go there once every 2 yrs. they dont check anything but if u have a cat, the tailpipe sniffer, and the gas-cap check. no big deal.
