Is there anyway to get door dings without having the car resprayed? I remember hearing about a company called dent wizards, anybody ever heard of them? If so are they good and how the hell do they do it?

 

It works great. In Jersey, $125.00 up to 4 dings per area.
They never let u inside garage to see but my guess is high temp. to soften metal body
panel and using a long tong to hit the metal inside out. They do drill small hole inside fender well or door edge to get access to the dents and then seal the hole.
I bought all my Hondas and 2 R's there since 1994. I have DING Phobia!

 

I got that done but if you carefully in the right angle you can see where the dents were.

 

They use a set of special tools designed for the job. They look like long metal sticks with flat ends. They pretty much massage the dent out. And all of the ones I have seen they don't put any holes in your car. Of course there is a limit to what they can get out. Some quote you a price by panel and some quote you by hour.

Yup had one taken out 3 months after I had the car, the normal guys charge between 60-100 per panel. some dings are not do-able cause of the lack of reach or unable to get inside.

 

dent wizard does great work. I work at carmax and we use them as our off-lot vendors.

i have had it done and it works wonders. the guy showed me exactly how it was done. i would be a great trade to learn, and make some extra cash.

Dent wizard is not a tool, it's a company. They send a guy out to your house to do it.

 

They also have retail outlets and or can perform this service at local auto dealers or car washes. Check your local yellow pages for "Paintless Dent Removal" under Automobile Repair to find a list of companies in your area.

my car had hail damage and door dings. i had paintless repair done and looks awesome.
they use some special tool. definitely worth it.

 

They add charecter. My arrrgh has the hottest dimple courtesy of a golf ball.

 

I had Dent Wizard remove my door dings 3 years ago. All the dings simply disappeared. I have since accumulated more door dings, so I will definitely be taking my car there again soon. They have locations throughout the US and the world. Go to their website to find the location nearest to you:

dent doctor or some place tha specializes in minor dent removal my friend got a dent fixed on his old gsr at a dent dr. and it looked perfect and it was like $50 or so
