Tire size recommendation/check
I really like the kosei K-1 and Black Racing Pro N-1. I think they will be great for auto-x and streets.... I am getting more and more serious about auto-x'ing so i wanna do something about it.
Anyway, to keep the cost down or whattnot, i may get the K1 in 16 X 7.5 instead of the 17 X 7.5 (i like biggER wheels; semi-ricer mentality).
Do you think going 225 is ok with the 16''? or is 215 sufficient? keep in mind that 5th gen preludes came with a 16X6.5 wheels with 205/50/16 tires. I am lowered with a prokit/agx combo. and with my current setup -17X7 w/ 215/45/17-, i do not experience any rubbing.
i am just goin wiht the whole, "wider is better" theme so, if you have a different view/recommendation...i'd like to hear it.
thanx

for cars as heavy as ludes, you want as much rubber as you can stuff into that wheel well without having major rubbing issues, or more rubbing than you can handle.
also you may wanna go to a dedicated 15" auto-x wheel/tire combo.

What's up Steve?
Yeah, if you can, I'd try to mount up a 15". Will these wheels be used solely for autox? If so, then why worry about being bling-bling? However a 15x7.5 is hard to find. Worse case, run the 16". What tire size are you looking at? 225/45-16? A 225 should be fine.
