Default Now taking orders for the 11.75" 4 piston kit...

If you are interested in the 11.75" kit that fits under the 15" wheels, now is the time to put up the $. I have been able to reduce the price to $800 by using a plain instead of slotted/drilled rotor and a cast caliper. Pads are NOT included in the price. Contact me for more info. I can have these ready to ship within about 2 weeks of getting all the $. I need 3 more buyers to get this off the ground.

Here's the specs:
11.75" 2 piece rotors
4 piston Wilwood Superlite IIA calipers
all attaching hardware
brake line adapters (to fit the stock lines to the calipers)

Options:
Slotted/drilled rotors $100
Carbotech Panther or Panther+ pads $100

Do these "kits" fit under the stock R wheels? I know you said under 15" wheels, but most aftermarket calipers don't clear the "spokes" of the wheel without spacers. Thanks in advance,
Jeremy

Here's a link to the Wilwood caliper page:

It looks like it will be a nice kit if it fits under stock wheels.

How difficult would it be to incorporate the Billet Superlite 6? It is only .44 inch longer, but has 2 extra pistons and is billet.

Any thoughts on this?

I am incorporating an offset in the brackets to allow the calipers to clear the spokes. I'll be test fitting the hat/rotor on an ITR with stock wheels to make sure it fits.

The 6 piston caliper will fit in the same space as the 4 piston calipers, but it is a wider caliper. That doesn't really present a problem from the design aspect, but it means it may not fit inside the wheel without hitting the spokes, unless I increase the bracket height. From looking at the specs it is possible. If you want to upgrade to the 4 or 6 piston billet calipers, I can custom make the necessary brackets. The price will obviously be more for the calipers too. I can supply the 4 piston billet calipers for an additional $150. The 6 piston calipers will add (I hope you're sitting down) $550 to the kit.

Would your kit improve the stopping distance of the R? Or just help resist brake fade, and help firmness? Have you done any tests yet? I would be interested in ordering a kit. Please let me, and the rest of us know. Thanks.

I am expecting a significant improvement in the braking, with very little chance for brake fade, due to the diameter and mass of the rotor. Coupled with the reduction in weight (approx 10 lbs per wheel), significant handling benefits should result. Threshold braking will be much more precise due to the multi piston calipers.

Could you post a pic of what we will be getting with the kit? What is the price difference for changing to stoptech slotted rotors??

I checked the Teg forum and there was no info! What's the price for non-ITR Tegs?

T- I am unable to post pics, but I can email you a pic of what components will look like. The Stoptech rotors will not work with the kit as the hats are a different design.

Drealgsr- The non ITR kit is the same as the ITR, the only diff is the hat design to work with the 4 vs 5 lug pattern.
