Those two are totally diffrent. Apexi is loud, mugen is close to stock.

Youre comparing one of the loudest exhausts to one of the quietest? Im sure the N1 will flow more, however it might drive you bananas if you DD the car.

IMO Jackie, you will have a hard time finding a full exhaust youll be happy with. But heres a few good ones, once again IMO:
JIC Bullet
T1R
SMSP

If you guys heard her car now, it really wouldnt matter. Its pretty loud in vtec ( )

"Sponsored?" Sponsored for what? What series?

Sounds like you need a header and HF cat before another obnoxious grapefruit shooter. Which Thermal do you currently have? The traditional and older style Thermal is damned good with an awesome sound. The Apexi N1 will be raspy and higher pitched in comparison.

Honestly though, rodney on here actually put out higher peak numbers after tuning his B's (the first time) when he was running his Thermal as opposed to his current Fujitsubo RM01A (tuned differently). Plus we both agree that the Thermal plain sounded better.

Unless you have some crazy NA setup, I don't see any reason to spend more money on a catback, at least till you get a good header and something between it and the catback.

Either your deaf (or going there), run a stock cat, or just aren't bothered by the constant droning because EVERY N1 is loud as Fvck.

Every once in a while you get someone that says this, and although to You it may not be so loud for whatever reason (and don't take offense, especially since I have one as well) They ARE LOUD TO EVEYRYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD.

Get someone to check your Db level. I'd bet at 3/4 to WOT and definitely at crossover that you are past 92 Db, and that ain't quiet.

both are very good.. I suspect the N1 would yield a bit more power.. do they even make mugens for hatches, or do they have to be customized to fit?

consider Buddy Club as a 3rd option..

apexi is 60mm which is 2.36 inches. Get a 2.5 inch system if you don't care about noise. The quality of Apexi is crap. The piping will rust rather quickly if you live in an area with a lot of wet weather. Better off getting something stainless like mugen or T1R

Prolly a local shop. Her car sees alot of races, and is one of the fastest all motor cars in the area.

I think if you are also looking for a header, the Bisimoto is gonna be a good choice. That or the Weapon R...

Damn skippy!!! The N1's are loud. Over time you do get used to it and think it's not loud. Blingish (my new word), of course

ill tell you that mugen is too restrictive for a built motor. but if you decided to just do bolt ons, just get mugen.
