Do search on comptech's and AEM's intakes. That should provide with the info you need. IMO, I like AEM CAI. As for oil, I running Mobile 1 5W-30 tri-syn.

Nice to see another R in Michigan, As far as intake I have had both the AEM and the IceBox. On my car they make very similar power, The AEM has a real slight advantage in the mid range 4k+ However the AEM is much louder. I left the Icebox on because it attracts less attention and still makes good power.

Intake is really your choice. I'd either leave it stock or buy a AEM CAI, Injen CAI or the Comptech Icebox.

As for oil.. I use Castrol GTX 10w30.

/me will go hide from the "WHAT?!?! YOU DON'T USE SYNTH?!?! YOU MORON!!!!" people (aka "I like to waste money!" )

i wish synthetic came in even smaller bottles so they'd charge more for packaging! I like to waste money!

If you want loud and good HP gains and so-so fit, and get AEM. If you want a slightly more aggressive near-stock sound with good HP gains and better fit, get Comptech Icebox (you also have to like to spend money). I use Mobil 1, have since 3000 miles. With regular changes, non-synthetic offers plenty of protection, I just feel better about putting the best in, i also use 94 octane, and i rarely buy generic-brand groceries

I have both the AEM and the Icebox. I prefer the Icebox. The AEM did have a nice sound, but I liked the smoother power of the Icebox. I sometimes miss the sound of the AEM. I'd get the Icebox.
