Has anyone done an HID projector retrofit such as S2K, Audi, BMW
and used an aftermarket like Xenon Depot, Visual Dynamics, or Autolamps-Online?

 

MTK put s2000 hids in his 240sx..
some other guy put audi hids [i think] in his crx.. the info is out there click the search and do some reading.

 

im a little confused as to exactly what you are saying, but if you mean can you use the stock projector, with an aftermarket hid kit, yes you can, just get d2s bulbs.

why would you use aftermarket bulbs? You're putting OEM HID projectors in, so put some OEM D2S bulbs in there.

 

no the question i was asking was if anyone had installed an OEM HID projector
and then used an aftermarket HID kit
i know i could get the OEM HID bulb when i get the projector I am asking a different question

 

don';t do that.....just get the correct stuff toi do it right (oem ballasts and d2s 4100 K bulbs)....anymore ithen 4100 is useless to you.....all the kits you get are like minimum 6000K.....=**** if you ask me!
