OEM HID capsules are not sized in "halogen" sizes such as H4, H7, 9006, etc., which is why they require modification to install in halogen housings.
The vast majority of OEM HID capsules are either D2R (if the housing is reflector) or D2S (used with projectors).

yup , also casper sells sheilds, so that D2s/d2r bulbs can fit in H4 housings
