cheap way to build
Ok a quick question since our stock motors are weak with boost .. Would it be a waste to use stock pistons with forged connecting rods..I am having this argument with my friend on this. I say its waste of time.. Do it right.. Also for me I kinda wanna go boost but I spent tons of money on my motor
theres no cheap way to build a motor. The stock pistons, can not take the boost, the ringlands will go, causing slap, then allowing the rod to damage the pistons even more.
Due it right the first time, and save some money, if your going to do it.

i think the rule of thumb is below, pick 2:
Cheap : Reliable: Fast
if you want fast and cheap it won't be reliable, just do it right the first time, you will be much happier
