Wingless Type-R Shots
Just got done giving the R a bath. Took the wing off for the winter. No reason, just a change of pace I guess. Here's some shots for your viewing pleasure.
They are only supposed to be temporary, but they've been on there since early summer now. LOL Ive been meaning to get the OE wheels repainted due to them being so chipped from from road wear.

Please, do your Rrrr a favor and put the spoiler back on. Some tegs can pull it off, others can't - your car does not look good wingless. Also, what happened to the white R wheels, so much nicer than poopbronze Rotas
Overall though, I

Other than looks, how are those wheels a downgrade from stock? For one thing they are wider than stock, and with 205/50 Azenis, a wider wheel DEFINITELY helps over the stock 6" wide wheel. 205/50 Azenis really work better on 6.5" or wider wheels because the tire is wider than most other 205 tires. Also the Slipstreams are a good deal lighter than OE ITR wheels, like 3-4 lbs difference per wheel.
