Default Lost The Only Key To My Civic *HELP*

Can i go to the dealership, give them my vin number and then they make a key for me?

I know I would have to show proof that i own the car etc but is it possible?

what kind of proof is needed? I know title, registration, and my license.

Can any dealership do it or does it have to be a local one ?

you live in HI. go down there with the title and there u go. why would u want to NOT goto a local dealership?

Or you can call a Lock smith they have a what they call a carbon key. Its blank and has carbon.......no secong thought i don't want to reveal this as the thieves might make there own.

not saying you are one but, Internet has no control over the readers.

because local honda dealers charge WAY too much for OEM parts while you can get them at a much discounted price on the internet and wait a few days.

I think i'll go ahead and call a lock smith. Anyone know what this mthod is called?

thats exactly what i did,
they made me up two keys.
the guy was kinda sketched on me at first, and made me show him my drivers license, heh, and was like " this doesnt look like you, look up" hahaha,
oh well, better than them giving out my keys to any old wierdo i suppose.

but yeah they'll do it
