zaino wax is amazing!!!
i just did one coat of the zaino "z-2" followed with the after spray wax "z-6"
this **** is great. this truck has not even been washed in 6 months. i figured i have had it for a year time to wax it before the snow and salt. it looks like i just bought it

next is the black si, we'll see how the swirls trun out with the zaino "z-5"

I used to use Zaino on my Celica show car...and my God, the thing works wonders.
It hides scratches, gives the paint a nice, deep color, and repels water like any other wax even though it's just a polish. On top of all that, the coat of polish will stay on the car forever (6 months or something of that nature) if you use the wash they sell.

Yes sir.
If anyone is looking for s100, you can find it at the local Harley dealer. It's not reallly all that expensive either. I think I paid like $30 for the wax and paint cleaner.
It's good **** too.

I don't remember the specifics of it but it is a kind of polish they formulated or something. they talk about it at zainos website, zainobros.com I think generally wax gives a deep shine and is a protectant, but zaino shines even better and offers more protection than wax, so which would you choose?
zaino and a claybar lasts about half a year and even then it still looks ok.
They did this test on a nsx hood a while ago on nsxprime i think. They sectioned it off and used a bunch of different wax/polish products and then left it outside for a long time. Zaino won hands down. It's section was still beading water while even the 130 dollar zymol "nsx" wax (yes there is such a thing!) was not.
Conclusion: i will never use anything other than zaino!!!

S100 is the company (same as P21S) and as mentioned above, can be found at Harley-Davidson dealerships. Since you're in Walnut Creek, I'd try the one in San Ramon/Danville (down the street from the In-N-Out) and see if they carry it. There's the carnuba paste wax ($15), and there's the shine enhancing paint cleaner ($10)

Zaino is a synthetic polymer (Klasse is another well known polymer) as opposed to a carnuba wax, such as S100. Synthetic polymers are known to last quite a bit longer than carnuba waxes alone. Some detailers also top polymers such as Zaino and Klasse with a good quality carnuba wax for the added depth and wetness.
What's with all these detailing threads all of a sudden? It's winter!

Buy both. Use the paint cleaner first. Use it like a wax, but rub it in more, when applying it.
Then remove the paint cleaner. Then wax.

look above, someone posted a link to http://www.zainobros.com It's pretty pricey though. There's no "better" sealant, it all depends on your paint condition, the environment, and how often you'll be applying it. Some people prefer polymers because of their added durability, when compared to a regular carnuba wax.

Rub it in A LOT, to the point where there's almost none left.
