Default Smoke from exhaust

A friend of mine was driving behind me today and he noticed that everytime I pushed the car (well into vtec), puffs of smoke appeared from the exhaust. It's mostly a whitish color, maybe a little blue. My friends Type R does the same. Now I know vtec loves oil, so could that be the reason? Is this common on vtec cars? My other friends GS doesn't do this. Someone please shed some light on this for me.

You will be surprised the **** that comes out of an exhaust when you push the car heard. Do a compression test and if it turns out fine you got nothing to worry about. I don't care what anybody says, if you got bolt ons and you beat on your car, your car will burn a little oil.
