Any help/info will be appreciated.

you went from 16k base model to a 27k base model.. you cant really compare those based on price... but if the guys has 10k extra.. good luck...

Find out who makes what components, that will tell you what it would be like. A perfect example is the DSM cars; the Eclipse had a bulletproof engine but the rest of the car was shoddy quality.

My mom's '94 has gone 154k+ miles with minimal maintenance. It definately isn't a Honda, but it has suprised me. At any rate it just passed DEQ with no problems and it is comfortable as hell with leather (btw- the most rear knee room of ANY comparable suv I have ridden in), woodgrain, and.... oh yeah... zero cupholders
STOP don't buy them there junk! intake leaks , upper end oiling problems.
the motor is mostly a GM motor and I've done like 3 intakes and 1 with heads in a 1 year period
