Default motor swap

have 1991 accord auto.want to pull old motor. install better and more ponys,with little work involved. can anybody suggest new at this .so be easy on me thanks

The 90-93 F20B would be a cool choice, it has about 200hp.

the only F20B's that had 200hp were the SiR accords from japan from 98-02...the rest of them only had 135-145 hp and were single cam...there was a dohc f22b jdm motor found in some preludes from japan that made about 160 hp....if you can find one of those for cheap on ebay (usually about $400-600 on ebay) it would be a good choice...of course, there is always the h22...

a good cheap alternative would just be to do a vtec head swap...there is a how-to on this here: http://www.accordinglydone.com...=1526
it shouldn't cost more than about $300 to 400 and will give you nice gains for your car...of course, it won't solve your auto problem, but it will still be a nice upgrade...anyways, enjoy!
