is the big bulb in the si gauge cluster (194 i think) clear with a amber cover on it?

no, i pulled them out of mine the other day and they were clear. i was wondering the same thing as you. i think the gauge is made up of amber material and not the bulbs like the climate controls.

 

yes the blubls in the cluster itself are clear, however they do sell 194NA bulbs which are amber that you can use in another cluster if you are trying to make it amber. go to any local parts store and they should have them.
