What kind of bass?

SQ or SPL?

Alpine Type R 12's are usually good for most people

What size subs? How much power in the amp? Is it only going to the subs or something else?

Let me know I might be able to get you a good deal and shipped to you no problem.

1 kicker comp vr12
and a decent mono amp that will handle about 400 watts rms @2 ohm

put this in a sealed box and break that bad boy in

you can do this for under 300
trust me this will pound and sound good

Never heard of these brands,
Never was a fan of kicker
Alpine is the way to go Type R then Type E then Type S

there is no better sub u can get for the money than a kicker

well hummm
im bias i listen to a bunch of jazz and house

ive been through a billion subs and nothin rocks like a kicker

the alpines are good subs, but they arent as musical as a kicker. but a kicker needs to be put in the right box or it will sound like crap.

I have a pretty sweet combo for you, and I'm local

I have a pair of JL Audio 10w1's in a factory JL audio box and a SoundStream Reference 500sx (back when soundstream was good)

I can get you that combo (which sounds great) for well under 400.

Let me know if you are interested.

If you want new, IDv3's from sounddomain - pretty small box sizes and they sound excellent - all for around $100 a driver.

How about a carbon fiber/Nomex flat piston cone, 3" voice coil and ferrofluid cooling?
