is this possible? I got a good EG tranny and my EF tranny's bad.
more specifically, 95 si tranny and a 90 crx dx tranny.

yes, but you have to reshim all the gears = not fun. i asked mista bone a similiar question a few weeks ago. wanted to swap my 96 ex gearset into a 96 dx casing. the outside of the casing is the same, but the inside is different; because, the ex (and si) bearings are larger than a cx/vx/dx. it can be done, but way more trouble than it's worth.

and it's probably not even possible between generations like that.
