Default ericks racing ecu programs

just wondering if anyone has had a good or bad experience with the program and what everybody thinks about..doesnt sound bad for a 150 bux. Also what is the plus to getting the package that removes the knock sensor and o2 sensor and speed limiter..i know the advantage to the speed sensor but the others i have no clue...thankx for the help

Good ol Erick , yep I ran and still have one of his programs . His maps are just R maps with added timing and I do mean added timing like 15% and better . If you have a B motor with no more than CTR cams and stock compression his program works great . The motor I had him make one for was running 13.4:1 and ITR cams , well lets say I am lucky I didnt blow my motor because he put the base idle timing at 20 BTDC and 40 BTDC at medium loads . Like I said though if you dont have more than 10.6 or so compression his program does make good power and vtec crossover was smooth .

Really no big advantages running without either sensors . If you run without O2 then you are stuck on the base maps and will usually get less fuel economy and really no performance gains . As for the knock well since the stock knock sensor detects detonation then really no performance gain there either . I run a Ericks program that still uses the o2 but I have a P28 so it doesnt run a knock sensor .
