Default ? about VAFC install

I'm about to install a VAFC and I'm running the stock obd2 ecu. Here is my question, since I will be converting to a obd1 p28 ecu in a few weeks will the wiring still stay the same or will I have to re-wire the vafc into the obd1 conversion harness or will everything still work fine after converting to obd 1?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think there is no difference.

That is what I was thinking. It seems to me that the conversion harness would take care of everything, but I want to make sure before I go installing it.

The wires are the same regardless. The conversion harness just repins the wires to different spots on different sockets...still the same wires.

To make things easier, I'd just install it into the conversion harness. That way you can solder outside of the car's footwell. It's so friggin' tight. I hate working down in those areas when the dash is still in place...especially the driver-side...stupid steering wheel.

Go with IN VTEC's idea.
That way you will not have to tap into the factory wiring harness to install the vafc. Makes install much cleaner and easier.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea.Does anyone sell the conversion harness with the vafc wires already soldered in place?Seems like I've seen them somewhere.

I soldered into my obd2-1 harness..... using the instructions for the 92-95 civic from the VAFC manual..... running Kenji's P28.
