anyone know this guy Ben Walsh on here as _shadow_ from GA?? that guy agreed to even trade my NOS KIT for his Greddy Profec B controller so i shipped out the kit by UPS and he recieved it DEC 1st. Now he's ignoring my emails and pms and it doesn't look like i'm gonna get the profec b. If you know'm let me know and please be aware of this guy.. i dont care what or who he is..i jus want my kit back or the profec b!!!! dammit!!! please refer his *** to the moderators!

yea i almost worked out a deal with him for some stereo equipment. but after talking to him i decided he was a moron and didnt trust him.....this scamming **** has got to stop!!!!!

dude! a $300 nos kit aint gonna make me poor or rich, just the fact that some buster tryin to rip off everyday people. A lot of people here are legit in helping eachother out and its the sorry SOB's (no names - SCAMMERS) that take away from that. WHOEVER WANTS MY NOS KIT... just go to his house in Statesboro, GA and get it and you can keep it! It aint worth my trouble and time to send this guy anymore more money to ship it back, no time for lil kid shytz! PM me if you wanna go get the kit, it'll just make me feel better that he doesn't keep it by frauding me!

 

if you are gonna make and even trade try doing it through paypal

person a sends person b say 100
person b sends person a the part
person a has the part and now wants to send person b his part so
person b sends person a 100
person a sends person b the part

doning it that way you can protect yourself from a scammer because you can report this person to paypal and get at least your 100 back to recoupe some of the loss that way you both break even in the end

OK people....of course there are 2 sides to every story.

First let me state that I have been a member of honda-tech for 800+ days. I have also done many many transactions with people on the boards. So this is how the story goes...

Alfee IM'd me wanting to trade his complete NOS wet kit for my profec B. So of course I jump on this deal. I tell this guy that I am not going to ship out to him first because he is just a trial member and has not established a reputation on the boards yet. Well I have a very good rep and I do not scam people. I even told him to ask around on the board for vouches. So I worked out this deal with him.
He ship out the kit UPS ground first and provide me a tracking #, then I was going to eat the high shipping cost and ship the profec B to him NEXT DAY AIR.

Well the kit comes in and is missing quite a few parts that he specifically said were included. These missing parts include (SS braided line to run from bottle to front of the car, the push buttons, kill switch, and some minor hardware)

Who is trying to scam who here? Where are my missing parts? I almost went ahead and shipped out the profec b to this guy before the NOS kit arrived. I didnt because he was a new member and I just felt safer to ship it out next day air to be sure everything went smooth. Let me tell you I'm glad I didnt. What the hell am I going to do with a nos kit with half the parts?

So I told the guy send me the rest of the parts or send me some $ to ship back his stuff. Plain and simple. I'm not being unreasonable here. If he had of shipped everything then there wouldnt be this problem.
