anybody here have 13:1 on their daily driven car? what octane are you using? how's the mpg? any advantages/disadvantages?
im really leaning towards 13:1. i don't see the point of going with any lower compression, when i can easily make more power with a higher compression.

Assuming you have some majorly beefy cams to compliment that 13:1 compression, thats gonna be one annoying street car. Def. would need massive amounts of tuning.

Why do you insist on 13:1 CR? Do you feel that the higher compression you go the more power you'll make out of your setup? Once you start increasing your cranking pressure too much, you're sure to lose high end power. Like sledgehammer said, I hope you have some huge cams that'll like that compression. A majority of the people assume that the higher compression you have the more power you get. There's more aspects that you have to take into consideration with cams being the top priority. I dislike that people only listen to all the hype. If you better understand how it affects your engine, you'll easily find the right answer to your question without anybody's help.
