Default CX B16 Swap

I am looking into buying a CX and want to know since it isn't prewired for VTEC what will I have to do to make it work. Or should I just rewire the whole car?

no cx wiring harness is not wired for vtec, if u use a cx wirign harness you have to wire your vtec to a vtec ecu. SEARCH and u will find out more

there is only a few wires that you have to add to the harness to make it all work
two for the vtec solenoid i think and one for the knock sensor or something
just do a search there is probably a lot of topics on this subject

92, I also know that the CX wiring harness doesn't work but if I use the one from a B16A2 engine with that same engine I am purchasing from hmotorsonline.com it should work correct as I wouldn't be using a CX wiring Harness?

Do a search- all '92s are wired for Vtec from the ECU, it is just the engine harness that doesn't have the wires on the CX.

All 92 civics are prewired for vtec already. If you are dropping b16 all you would need to do is add knock and rewire for 4 wire o2
